Research on deep drawing with multi-ring blank holder technique

In this paper, a novel multi-ring blank holder technique is developed. The holding force (BHF) provided by each ring can be independently and effectively applied on all radial regions. principles advantages of the are first explained analyzed theoretical derivation, stress analysis, forming simulation. results indicate that distribution per unit area (FUA) new more reasonable than using conventional single better suppress wrinkles. Finally, effectiveness proven deep drawing experiment 08Al plate. It was verified due to FUA distribution, use wrinkles flange very well.
